Programs Associate Director
Are you ready to take on a leadership role where you can make a meaningful impact? The Programs Associate Director position offers a dynamic opportunity to support and collaborate with the Chief Program Officer (CPO), drive strategic program success, and lead a passionate team committed to achieving measurable results.

In this role, you will provide critical administrative and operational leadership, act as the CPO’s proxy when needed, and play an essential part in developing innovative strategies to ensure program goals are met. With a focus on compliance, teamwork, and community impact, this position is ideal for someone ready to grow their career in program management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Support:

    • Serve as a trusted advisor and decision-maker for the CPO, communicating updates and facilitating program success.
    • Supervise program leads, ensuring alignment with contract guidelines and organizational goals.
    • Provide training and administrative leadership, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.
  • Program Oversight:

    • Plan, coordinate, and evaluate programs, processes, and systems to meet deadlines, budgets, and specifications.
    • Collaborate with the CPO to sustain, promote, and expand departmental programs and services.
    • Monitor compliance with federal, state, and agency regulations while ensuring timely, accurate reports and documentation.
  • Community Engagement & Representation:

    • Represent MNC at meetings, events, and public forums, strengthening relationships with community partners and agencies such as DAAS, MOHCD, and DCYF.
    • Build and maintain partnerships with funders, public and nonprofit agencies, and community groups.
  • Team & Staff Development:

    • Lead recruitment, orientation, supervision, and professional development initiatives for program staff.
    • Conduct performance evaluations, facilitate team-building activities, and identify training opportunities.
    • Provide mentorship and guidance through regular staff meetings and one-on-one supervision sessions.
  • Operational Excellence:

    • Manage budgets, contracts, and daily operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to organizational standards.
    • Collaborate with the CPO and development team on grant writing, reporting, and auditing processes.
    • Develop and oversee the annual calendar of activities, including special events and fundraising initiatives.
  • Conflict Resolution & Customer Service:

    • Actively resolve conflicts and de-escalate situations to maintain a positive team dynamic.
    • Deliver exceptional customer service and represent MNC with professionalism and integrity.
